Riassunto0000018: Audio non funzionante
DescrizioneCiao, dopo l'ultimo macroaggiornamento (con kernel e varie) ho perso l'audio... xmms non dà errori di nessun tipo, semplicemente la riproduzione parte, ma non si sente niente... anche kmix è cambiato, nel senso che ora non ho più tutti i volumi che avevo prima, cioè uscita, uscita frontale ecc., mi mancano tutti, ora c'è solo volume e pcm, e manca anche la scheda degli interruttori vari, quella da dove si seleziona la linea di ingresso, per intenderci. Incerto sulla buona riuscita dell'aggiornamento ho reinstallato tutto dall'ultima livecd, ma non è cambiato nulla, sembra che io non abbia più i driver, anche se i programmi vari non mi danno nessun errore di uscita audio.

Ciao, dopo un po' di permanenza su windows sono tornato su openmamba, e ho notato che ora kmix non si limita a mettere solo i volumi generali, bensì l'icona nel vassoio è quella con la crocetta rossa che indica che non c'è audio, e aprendo l'applicazione, la finestra risulta vuota senza barre di regolazione dei volumi.

Rieccomi, dopo un po' di indagini ho scoperto che i driver per la mia scheda audio sono inclusi dalla versione 1.0.15 di alsa; l'unico mistero è come mai prima funzionasse correttamente (più o meno, dato che avevo comunque problemi con la linea in ingresso)...

Prova a caricare il driver audio (snd_hda_intel) con l'opzione model=asus.

Lo puoi fare con:
 echo "options snd-hda-intel model=asus" > /etc/modprobe.conf.d/snd_hda_intel
e poi riavvio.

Anche utile sarebbe conoscere il contenuto del file:
 cat /proc/asound/card0/codec#0

L'anomalia si può chiudere, reinstallando da livecd tutto funziona correttamente.
